Acid Blue 9 is a blue purple powder. Easy to dissolve in water, with a solubility (90 ℃) of 50g/L. The aqueous solution appears green and blue, but almost colorless after adding sodium hydroxide, accompanied by a deep purple precipitate. Soluble in ethanol. Acid Blue 9 is orange in concentrated sulfuric acid and turns pale yellow when diluted. Sensitive to copper and iron ions during dyeing, affecting the color light.
It is highly soluble in water, which is its most fundamental and important property as a water-soluble pigment. It can quickly dissolve in water, forming a clear and bright blue solution.

Production method of Acid Blue 9
