Description
Chemical Essence and Structure REACTIVE BLUE 19， It is a typical vinyl sulfone type reactive dye, belonging to the anthraquinone dye family. Its chemical structural characteristics are distinct: on the anthraquinone chromophore, β – sulfate ester ethyl sulfone is connected as a reactive group. This group is the precursor of ethylene sulfone and is the key to determining its dyeing mechanism. In addition, the REALIVE BLUE 19 molecule also contains sulfonic acid groups to provide water solubility. Reactive BLUE 19, also known as REACTIVE BLUE 19, is a powder that is dark blue in color. It is easily dissolvable in water and appears bright blue in aqueous solution. In the dyeing process, the unique chemical reactivity of this dye is evident: the b-sulfate ester group in ethylsulfone undergoes an elimination reaction under alkaline dye bath conditions, which generates active vinyl sulfones in situ. 1.Textile printing and dyeing is the core application for textile printing industry
REACTIVE BLUE 19 is used to dye and print various cellulose fibres and blended fabrics, achieving excellent wet treatment speed.
REACTIVE BLUE 19, a dye for cotton yarns, cotton needleweaving, and cotton machine-weaving, is used widely in immersion and roll dyeing. Vinyl sulfones covalently bond with hydroxyls on cotton fibers by controlling alkaline agent, temperature and the vinyl sulfone group. This gives the fabric a vibrant and strong blue colour. This dye is used to produce blue-colored products like pure cotton denims, T-shirts and underwear, towels and bedding.
REACTIVE BLUE 19, a continuous pad dye, can be used in the continuous pad dyeing of woven fabrics with a high cotton ratio, like shirt fabrics, curtains, decorative fabrics and so on, to dye large amounts.
The REACTIVE BLUE 19, can be used to screen print or drum print on cotton fabrics. It is also suitable for printing directly blue patterns or for ground colors in discharge printing processes.
